To say the first few weeks of the 2024/25 Women’s Super League season have been busy would be a bit of an understatement. From Jonas Eidevall’s departure as Arsenal manager to a fixture postponement and Crystal Palace’s early first win, a lot has happened since the action kicked off back in September. And here at Fantasy WSL we’ve been busy keeping you up to date with all the action.
This weekend, however, things will look a little different. You might have noticed that the team selection deadline on the app is 3 November, because there are no WSL matches this weekend. Instead, many of the WSL’s players have returned to their home countries as part of the international break – a regular period set aside for international games and training.
But just because the WSL is on pause, doesn’t mean you can’t still get a glimpse of some of your favourite players in action. Some of the international matches being played in this break will be televised or streamed here in the UK, so you can keep an eye on the players in your squad ahead of the next gameweek. Who knows, perhaps you might be able to hone your visionary skills and rack up a few extra points when the WSL returns.
Here are just a few of the matches that are being shown in the UK this weekend which could potentially feature players from the WSL, including where you can watch.
